Fashion Designer
Cosmin Diaconu graduated from Anglia Ruskin - Cambridge School of Arts with a BA in Fashion Design, where his passion for sustainability took center stage. After graduation, he showcased his collection at Graduate Fashion Week in London and contributed to Beyoncé's outfit for the Renaissance Tour.
He founded Retrogusto, a high-end second-hand and upcycled fashion brand, which has curated and organized three fashion shows in Cambridge, bringing a fresh vision of fashion to the city. As the founder of RepairMyDenim, Cosmin has rescued thousands of denim jeans from waste and led workshops across Cambridge colleges and the Grand Arcade, educating the community on sustainability and garment repair.
Beyond repair and upcycling, Cosmin is dedicated to creating original designs that champion circular fashion, offering a stylish yet sustainable alternative to fast fashion. His work aims to fight over-consumption and clothing waste, proving that fashion can be both innovative and responsible.
